Brittle star and sponge

A brittle star feeds from a sponge at Austin's reef. There were also things that were remarkable in their absence on the reefs of Grand Turk.

We did not see, for example, the many echinoderms that one sees at other Caribbean sites: starfish or sea cucumbers and no urchins.

We also saw very few eels and only a couple of sharks.
