Gray Angelfish pair

The wall at Coral Gardens was home to many fish and corals. This large pair of Gray Angelfish was working up and down the crest of the wall.

Pretty much all the diving we did was wall diving. The reef is generally less than a quarter of a mile off shore and starts in relatively shallow water, the wall runs the full length of the island, with profiles including steep sloping terrain to coral overhangs and vertical drop-offs - all ultimately leading into 7,000 feet of water in the Turks Islands Passage.
