OK, I'll admit it. This is my favorite picture from the whole trip.

Underwater photography offers unique technical challenges and, at least for me, capturing the combination of odd juxtapositions, cool light and interesting composition is pretty uncommon.

These sharks were cruising the bottom at Amberjack reef while the jacks were circling in a helix up and down the water column above the sharks.

This may have been the one place where the poor visibility -- or at least all the particles in the water -- paid off by helping create this scene.
