We saw many turtles during our two day stay at Ambergris Caye. The hawksbills are not usually large sea turtles, weighing in somewhere between 95 and 165 pounds. Leatherbacks, by contrast, might weigh as much as 1,200 pounds.

Still, it is always a treat to find sea turtles.
